G̈îs-vazê Bî (/ˈθɘzè/ /ˈvazɘ/ [awesome] [detail]) is a temperate Town located in the Lîsithapíe Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name G̈îs-vazê Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as G̈îs-vazê Bî was founded by Tsîlë Sheshèqtê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

G̈îs-vazê Bî has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). G̈îs-vazê Bî receives an average of 215 cm/y (84 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. G̈îs-vazê Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4834 m (15859 ft) above sea level.

Overview

G̈îs-vazê Bî was founded durring the late 15th century in winter of the year 1393, by Tsîlë Sheshèqtê. The establishment of G̈îs-vazê Bî suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of G̈îs-vazê Bî which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

G̈îs-vazê Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and G̈îs-vazê Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

G̈îs-vazê Bî is buildings are built arround a single spacious paverstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. G̈îs-vazê Bî's would-be-castle fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

G̈îs-vazê Bî has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. G̈îs-vazê Bî ’s existence was once fed by scholarly pursuits. But the income once drawn in by the works of scribes and academics has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Everywhere about the town one can see abandoned schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the town places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Even in these times.

G̈îs-vazê Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain G̈îs-vazê Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

G̈îs-vazê Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

G̈îs-vazê Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

G̈îs-vazê Bî's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is based upon new and innovative technologies of construction and the idea that form should follow function. It was an embrace of minimalism and a rejection of ornament. The style became characterized by an emphasis on volume, asymmetrical compositions, and minimal ornamentation..

In G̈îs-vazê Bî there is a constant smell of overcooked presumably ethnic food.

The Smilodon, Homotherium near G̈îs-vazê Bî are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

G̈îs-vazê Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves consuming a local toxin to channel Transmutation energies of tier 2 via oratory performances.

POI

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, G̈îs-vazê Bî was attacked by a renegade group of the army. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is G̈îs-vazê Bî lost 257 people, 183 livestock, and 89 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 219, when members of G̈îs-vazê Bî's militia enacted an operation to rescue a specific mage from the enemy. The operation was complicated by the enemy forces had far more numbers than estimated. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for G̈îs-vazê Bî's forces. The war is remembered in legend by G̈îs-vazê Bî's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
